Quick Take: Randolph has announced its newest Made in Massachusetts collaboration with Sounder Goods, the Fall River, Mass. handmade leather craftsman known for its custom leather sunglass straps. This partnership combines two American-made brands, resulting in a new line of premium sunglass straps and a Limited Edition collection of nautically-inspired frames.
Specifics: Drawing inspiration from sailing and coastal allure, the Limited-Edition Randolph for Sounder Goods 55MM Aviator and 57MM Concorde showcase Acadian SkyForce polarized lenses and brand-new hand-painted Demi Reef bayonet temple tips. The designs are available in Randolph’s popular gunmetal finish or the all-new 22K Catalina Gold.
In addition, the collaboration presents a fresh take on Sounder Goods’ The Original Leather Strap. Each strap undergoes meticulous handcrafting using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, showcasing impeccable stitching, edge-dyeing, and buffing techniques. Available in Dark Brown, Cognac, or Black, these straps feature patented GripTite IV rubber connectors that swivel for a comfortable fit and are secured with Randolph's signature jewelry-quality rivets and embossed logo.
Selling Point: Peter Waszkiewicz, CEO of Randolph, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Sounder Goods, a brand that shares our commitment to quality craftsmanship and American heritage. This collaboration represents the best of American design and ingenuity, bringing together our expertise in eyewear with Sounder Goods' mastery of leather craftsmanship.”
