WASHINGTON, D.C.—On April 29, Elle hosted its Women of Impact Event at the Ciel Social Club in Washington, D.C., with Barton Perreira as a sponsor. The luxury eyewear brand showcased its collections at the event, with the main spotlight on its Women’s Coalition styles, which is part of the brand’s ongoing series of partnerships with women-led businesses across fashion, art and culture. Throughout this partnership, Barton Perreira highlights female visionaries and collaborate with these women to create limited-edition products that benefit non-profit organizations supporting women entrepreneurs.

Elle’s Women of Impact Event, which celebrates the women honored in Elle’s Impact Issue, provided the perfect backdrop for Barton Perreira to spotlight this initiative and support the honorees. Elle’s Impact Issue celebrates women who are making their mark on the world and using their power to make positive change, from activists to designers and everything in between.

Barton Perreira’s first two Women’s Coalition collections are in collaboration with celebrity brow artist Kelley Baker and art historian and writer Sarah Hoover. 

Founders Bill Barton and Patty Perreira were present at the Women of Impact event to support the honorees. Also in attendance were Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe and Jill Biden, social worker and founder of Wellness Women’s SPA(ce); Amanda N. Nguyen, CEO and founder of Rise; and Elena Velez, 2022 CFDA American Emerging Designer of the Year. Additional notable guests included Dr. Jill Biden, First Lady of the United States; Winnie Harlow, fashion model; and Julia Fox, actress and model.

Barton Perreira’s Women’s Coalition Initiative showcases the power of collaboration across industries, as well as the impact women can make when they work together. Combined with events like Elle’s Women of Impact event, eyewear design and production can have a truly monumental, powerful impact on the world around us.
