PINELLAS PARK, Fla.—Transitions has announced the tour dates for the Canada Certified Live Tour, a chance for eyecare professionals to earn their Transitions Specialist certification. The in-person events feature experts and the Transitions R&D team and provide an opportunity to interact with technical specialists and experience Transitions lenses firsthand through demonstrations. The event gives eyecare providers the opportunity to explore the Transitions product portfolio, according to an announcement from Transitions. “Transitions Certified Live is a reimagining of the Transitions Certification Program that delivers all the program's benefits in-person,” said Roxana Dreger, marketing manager, education, Transitions Optical.
 
“The events will give attendees the unique opportunity to engage with Transitions experts and products while learning more about light management and Transitions lenses,” Dreger said.

In addition to growing their expertise in light management and Transitions Light Intelligent Lenses, attendees will also earn access to materials designed to prepare them to better interact with patients. Attendees that bring two additional team members from their practice will also become a Transitions Certified Provider. Opticians will receive two credits for their continuing education.

The Certified Live Event will be held in major cities across Canada throughout the summer and fall. Tour dates and locations for the Transitions Certified Live event include:

Toronto: Tuesday, June 13
Vancouver: Tuesday, June 20 
Quebec: Tuesday, September 12
Montreal: Tuesday, September 19
Calgary: Tuesday, October 10
Regina: Tuesday, October 17
Halifax: Tuesday, October 24
