Close Up: OFA is an objective, bilateral visual field analyzer that measures pupillary responses to spatially resolved stimuli, captured by video cameras under infrared conditions. Both the amplitude (sensitivity) and time-to-peak constriction (delay) of the pupil responses are used to measure visual field abnormalities, instead of the subjective push-button human response to a stimulus required in subjective standard automated perimetry (SAP). Reports are presented in a classic format for quick and easy interpretation and side-by-side comparison with most SAP reports.
