Quick Take: EssilorLuxottica and Swarovski have unveiled a new collection of premium sun frames. The two also released an optical collection for the season.
Specifics: Inspired by some of Swarovski’s most iconic jewelry families and designed under the creative direction of Giovanna Engelbert, the new collection features statement shapes, brilliantly faceted crystals, sleek metals and signature touches, with each piece capturing the bold and joyful elegance of Swarovski. The collection is divided into three sub-sections: Lucent Inspired, Mesmera Inspired, Dextera Inspired, Pavé Styles and Orbita Inspired. The Lucent collection features multi-faceted, full-cut crystals on the temples and showcases Swarovski’s brand colors and a variety of popular shapes. The Mesmera Inspired collection highlights Swarovski’s variety of innovative cuts, clusters and statement extravagance. The Dextera Inspired collection takes its influence from Dextera jewelry and features a scattered placement of crystals to create a modern, organic sense of movement. Each stone is integrated directly into the frame, set within its own metallic setting. The Pavé styles exude modern glamour and feature daring shapes and futuristic flair. Finally, the Orbita Inspired styles explore color, with small crystals artfully arranged on the outer rims in colors that match the frames.
