MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis.—Skygen USA has appointed Steve Berryman as president, reporting to Craig Kasten, CEO. In his new role, Berryman will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including customer success and satisfaction, growth and profitability of the Software as a Service and benefit administration businesses, and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives, according to an announcement from the company. On an interim basis, Berryman will continue to serve as chief legal officer. The appointment will allow Skygen to provide greater focus on enabling its customers to better manage their dental and vision benefits by leveraging Skygen’s proprietary technology and benefit management expertise, the company said.

“Steve’s thoughtful leadership style, combined with great business judgement and a strong customer focus makes him the ideal choice for this role,” said Kasten. “He has a passion for making our customers successful through the use of our technology and benefit management expertise. He also brings a deep understanding of our strategic priorities, company values and our people.”

Prior to joining Skygen USA, Berryman spent 20 years at Quarles & Brady LLP, an Am Law 200 law firm, the last 12 years as an equity partner.
