Latest News PSI to Cease Operations at Year’s End By Staff Friday, September 22, 2023 12:15 AM ODESSA, Fla.—Practical Systems, Inc. (PSI) will be closing its doors at the end of 2023 after serving the optical industry for 52 years. “PSI has been blessed to have so many wonderful relationships in the industry. When Bill left the business, his wife June Jankura took over. In 1993, their son Patrick became president and led PSI to become one of the industry leaders in manufacturing, and distributing surfacing and finishing supplies and equipment.PSI will be taking final orders through Friday, September 29, 2023. The company’s remaining inventory has been greatly discounted and is listed on its website, www.LookToPSI.com, for purchase. Once final orders are processed, PSI will finalize the details and the business will be officially closed by the end of 2023. “PSI wants to thank the industry for ‘Looking To PSI’ over the years and wishes everyone much success moving forward,” the company said in a statement.
