DALLAS—Eyemart Express, a national optical retailer, announced last week a new targeted eyewear discount program that the retailer said illustrates its way of showing gratitude for health care workers, first responders and educators. The program calls for Eyemart Express’ optical locations to shows its gratitude to the “groups that serve their local communities with a 20 percent discount.” Two years into the pandemic have brought changes to everything, from how we visit the doctor to new flexible and remote working options,” the retailer noted in its announcement.

“But a significant constant remains: the dedication of health care workers, first responders and school faculty and staff to serve their communities.”

The everyday 20 percent discount for these groups provides savings on all prescription eyewear, along with 2,000 frames, lens upgrades and accessories at all 238 Eyemart Express stores across the country, the announcement noted.

Health care workers, first responders and school faculty and staff members simply need to present a valid ID, such as a school or hospital badge, to take advantage of these savings. All details and frequently asked questions about the discount programs can be found on the Eyemart Express website here.

Our discount program is a way for them to feel seen and supported.”

Eyemart Express also honors all veterans, military members and their families with a 20 percent discount in appreciation of their service.
