RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Vision has announced that it has been awarded the 2024 Training APEX Award, one of 105 organizations selected for their excellence in employee training and development. Training magazine’s Training APEX Awards are a worldwide ranking of organizations that excel at training and human capital development, with rankings determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives, and their effectiveness in terms of behavior change and impact, the company stated.

According to the announcement, VSP Vision was selected for the company’s robust offering of training and development opportunities for employees, including virtual and in-person workshops, on-demand courses, language learning programs, education reimbursement, networking opportunities and mentorship programs.

“Receiving the Training APEX Award is a testament to the commitment we have to provide best-in-class training and development programs for our employees,” said VSP Vision chief human resources officer Kristi Cappelletti-Matthews. “Focusing on innovative learning and development practices not only benefits employees on an individual level, it also drives impactful business outcomes.
