RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—To simplify the provider experience and deliver more flexibility and value, VSP Vision has announced updates coming to its provider programs, including VSP Premier Edge and a new Unity Rewards program. “We remain committed to evolving our doctor programs to make it even easier for practices to maximize the full value of their VSP relationship with opportunities for increased patient flow and greater profitability,” said Michelle Skinner, VSP Vision's chief provider and industry solutions officer.

Beginning January 1, 2025, Premier Edge criteria is being simplified to make it easier for practices to participate and take full advantage of the benefits at the Gold and Platinum levels, the company said. Program updates include:

● No lens purchases or flex spend targets required for program participation.

● Participation requirements will be based only on frame purchases and offering consumer conveniences.

● Extra Lens Savings ends, and a new Unity Rewards program, will offer simplified savings to all VSP network providers, replacing Unity Savings.

VSP network doctors will now receive lens rewards through a new Unity Rewards program beginning January 1, 2025:

● While the VSPOne lab network has evolved, practices will continue to earn and receive points on Unity products ordered through the Unity distributor lab network.

● Similar to VSPOne Lab Rewards, the new Unity Rewards program offers tiered rewards based on purchasing levels of all Unity lens products.

● Points will be easily redeemed through the same platform as VSPOne Lab Rewards, and all registered accounts will seamlessly transfer.

● Practices have expanded access to a network of Unity distributor labs who are certified to produce the full suite of Unity products.

The annual assessment on December 31, 2024 that determines Premier Edge level, will be based on the new criteria, the company said. VSP network doctors can learn more about the changes here or contact their VSP representative for more information.
