Quick Take: LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, has announced that Versace Eyewear is entering its space on Roblox, a global immersive platform for communication and connection, with a Versace Eyewear Men’s experience. LensCrafters Eye Odyssey, which debuted in October 2023, and with nearly 200,000 participants to date, is the first online edutainment experience with an optical retailer on Roblox, that offers an engaging and educational way to promote healthy eyecare habits.
Specifics: During the four week-long Versace Eyewear customization of the experience, the Roblox community will be able to explore the Versace Eyewear men’s collection. The experience will feature exterior windows with displays and panels, a dedicated photobooth, a mini-game and a Versace-branded version of Blinky, a young, friendly, eye-bulb character. Users will be able to customize their avatar with items from Versace for a unique luxury experience. Medusa, the iconic signifier of the House of Versace, acts as the protagonist of the mini-game and interacts with users with dynamics inspired by the “green light, red light” game. The experience is available to all Roblox users, and showcases the Versace Men’s eyewear collection available through EssilorLuxottica.
