AUSTIN, Texas—The VisionWeb board of directors has appointed Tom Loveless as the optometry software company’s president. He assumes responsibility effective immediately. Loveless brings a long career in the optical industry serving as CFO and VP of business development of VisionWeb since 2008 and CFO of Hoya Vision Care North America before joining VisionWeb. “Working with Tom for many years and knowing his accomplishments in both finance and business development, the board is sure VisionWeb is in good hands and poised to continue its impressive growth into the future. We are excited about what VisionWeb can bring to the industry under Tom's leadership with all three major product lines, the VisionWeb ordering engine, Uprise practice management and EHR software, and revenue cycle management and insurance claim processing," said Kevin Rupp, executive vice president of Essilor USA and VisionWeb board member.

Loveless holds a BBA in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst.
