LINZ, Austria—Silhouette Eyewear announced that it has received an award for Best Stand over 25 meters squared at 100% Optical 2017. According to the company, the most challenging part was to create a space that could accommodate each of its three brands which include Silhouette, Adidas Sport Eyewear and neubau while giving them equal weight.

Silhouette worked closely with Iguana Group, a creative design and build agency to develop this stand. An important feature of the design was the installation of a simple bar in the middle of the stand which helped to effectively divide space and act as a main focal point for drawing in and meeting customers.

The stand was also designed to showcase Silhouette’s new shop-in-shop retail display units. The display units are an important new program for the brand which marks a significant investment in terms of supporting its key retailers and optical professionals across the U.K., the company said.

Additionally, stand design also featured a showcase specifically for the new Silhouette Atelier collection and its new designer collaboration sunglass collection “Arthur Arbesser for Silhouette.”

“We are delighted to have received this award and feel that we successfully managed to craft a space that was warm, accommodating and effectively exhibited our core brand values,” Karen Parsons, head of marketing for Silhouette Eyewear said.
