BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—Safilo Group [SFL.IM] has announced its return to the Argentina market with the signing of a distribution agreement with OCSA SLR of Messrs. Cosentino, experienced commercial operators with a high reputation and tradition in the market, the company noted.

The return to Argentina represents a further step in Safilo Group’s development of the Latin America region, which established as dedicated commercial Division in the context of the Group’s 2020 Strategic Plan.

Leadership capability and strong relationships with customers were built in Brazil and Mexico, as solid foundation for sustainable growth in the whole region. With the new arrangement, Safilo said it aims to bring to Argentinian consumers its important portfolio of prestigious global brands with eyewear products of industry leading quality, trendsetting design and world renowned craftsmanship dating back to 1878.
