PADUA, Italy—Kering Eyewear has announced the appointment of Glenn Rusk as the head of North America and Jennifer Brown as vice president of sales for the U.S. East Coast. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Rusk will be based in New Jersey and will be in charge of Kering Eyewear for the U.S. and Canada. He will report to Roberto Vedovotto, president and CEO of Kering Eyewear.

Previously SVP of sales for Kering Eyewear, Rusk has gained a solid experience in the eyewear sector.

In his new role, Rusk takes on the responsibilities formerly handled by Antonio Bortuzzo, who has left Kering and returned to his home country of Italy.

In her new role, Brown will be in charge of developing the sales and growing the presence on the East Coast for all Kering brands operating in the eyewear segment and for Cartier Eyewear. Brown will also assume leadership of all the strategic alliances and buying groups nationally. She will report to Rusk and will be based in New York.

Brown has worked in the optical industry for over 15 years, most recently with Luxottica. She has focused predominately on independent optometry.
