Spectacle Lens Expert Track
With more lenses, materials and designs than ever before, customization offers endless opportunities to provide the most optimized vision for every need. “The need to have intimate knowledge of the different lens technologies available today is vital for everyone involved in providing eyecare and eyewear and is critical to patient satisfaction,” said Michael Vitale, ABOM, LDO, NCLEC, Senior Technical Director and Lens Division Liaison at The Vision Council. Vision Expo offers the Spectacle Lens Expert Track for eyecare professionals with a baseline knowledge of lenses to expand their expertise. Courses will cover new technologies that can protect patients from blue light, UV and digital eye strain and will also discuss how to assure patient outcomes with doctor-driven prescribing and optician-reinforcing recommending.
