MORRIS PLAINS, N.J.—Charmant Inc. has announced executive changes within Charmant USA. Masakiyo Honjo has been appointed as president and CEO of Charmant USA, effective Jan. 1, the company stated. Ken Onishi, most recently president of Charmant USA, has left the company to pursue other ventures in Japan. Honjo has extensive knowledge of the company having worked for the Charmant Group for the past 31 years in various roles. He has experience in manufacturing, product development and innovative technology as well as an understanding of sales and marketing, the company said.

Additionally, in 2005 Honjo was stationed in the U.S. and served as vice president of product development for the next 2 years. He has worldwide experience having worked in the China, Hong Kong and France subsidiaries over the years before returning to Japan. Currently, he holds the title of COO/international business division and chief product officer of the group.
