SEATTLE—The American Optometric Association (AOA) swore in its 2015-2016 leadership team on Sat. June 27, 2015, during the 118th AOA Congress held here.

The new officers are president Steven A. Loomis, OD, Colorado; president-elect Andrea P. Thau, OD, New York; vice president Christopher J. Quinn, OD, New Jersey; secretary-treasurer Samuel D. Pierce, OD, Alabama; and immediate past president, David A. Cockrell, OD, Oklahoma.

The trustees are Gregory A. Caldwell, OD, Pennsylvania (continuing); Barbara L. Horn, OD, Michigan (continuing); Robert C. Layman, OD, Ohio (continuing); William T. Reynolds, OD, Kentucky (re-elected); James P. DeVleming, OD, Washington (re-elected); and Ronald L. Benner, OD, Montana (newly elected).
