SECOND LOOKS

L’Amy Paris Extends Line with Masculine Styles

More Images
Quick Take: The L’Amy Paris collection has expanded its men’s offerings with the addition of new masculine styles.
Specifics: While maintaining the European influence that has been prevalent since the beginning, the three French-made styles—the Byron, Remi and Quintin—offer an appealing mix of classic silhouettes and contemporary design.
Selling Points: The Byron features a rectangular shape, with a half-rim style that has masculine appeal. A thinner gauge on the face front makes this frame lightweight while the extended endpiece lends itself to a unique kind of hinge, providing just a bit of extra flex. The Quentin goes for the “modernism” look, said the company, with a flatter top line and thicker gauge, especially at the bridge. Of interest is the detail on the end piece—cutaway lenses paired with a casted element. Finally, the Remi reaches for the distinctively masculine look, L’Amy said. This half rim frame has an ultra-slim gauge on the top bar with a bolder bridge. The extended end pieces are uniquely designed with a split detail; while the temples are thicker and feature a "step-down" element.
