Classique Introduces William Morris London Collection

More Images
Quick Take: Classique Eyewear has introduced their newest collection, the distinctive ‘English’ eyewear brand, William Morris London.
Wearer: The metropolitan wearer who is free spirited and loves life.
Specifics: Classique offers 35 styles in the William Morris collection; each comes with a hard case, microfiber cleaning cloth and is covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
Selling Points: Thirteen years ago, Robert Morris created William Morris London, an independent company with a very ‘English’ feel. The aim was to offer designer glasses to every audience by providing original designs which continually evolve. The result is frame styles in wearable, classic shapes and striking colors paired with European craftsmanship. From humble beginnings to what is today a successful global brand, Classique has now brought the brand to the U.S. market. The collection, designs and point of sale have grown to support the brand’s expansion, while the philosophy and brand attributes of William Morris London remain as strong as they were over ten years ago.

Prodesign Reveals the Axiom Collection Swivel Hinge

More Images
Quick Take: Prodesign Denmark has introduced the Axiom collection, featuring a swiveling hinge, inspired by the award winning hinge functionality of the Zense collection, series 7342-7345.
Specifics: Three ophthalmic shapes, styles 6133 to 6135, in four to six colors each.
Selling Points: For the Axiom collecion, Prodesign has turned the hinge inside out. The Axiom frames are all about no-nonsense simplified funtionality, so whereas in the Zense collection, the hinge was hidden, it’s now visible. The hinges little screw actually combines the hinge and rim lock functionality. To avoid any breakage due to the swivel mechanism, the hinge has a click-function that indicates, when the temple can’t be swiveled any further; once the hinge is in place, the entire hinge lies totally flat.
