VOCA TruTint delivers visible light management for specific light filtration, absorption and reflection. VOCA RGO Polarized VPC lenses eliminate glare and improve clarity enhanced color perception and reduced eyestrain. VOCA frame technology includes DualFlo AntiFog Ventilation System which is a patented active and passive ventilation system to allow air flow across the rear surface of the lens while in motion to help reduce fogging. When stationary, hot air escapes out of the top of the lens for additional ventilation. VOCA DualFlo is the only system on the market that ventilates while keeping ambient light and debris from entering the eye, the company said. The frames also feature AutoLoc Lens Interchange which is a spring activated lens retention system that eliminates undue stress on the lens. Additionally, VOCA frames are engineered with polyamide-grilamid TR90 which can withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Quick Take: ic! berlin is debuting its new collection of 3D printed printed plotic eyewear.
Specifics: Five new models—optical and sun; Metropolis, Dystopia, Utopia, Uptown and Downtown.
Selling Points: Launched in 2015, plotic is ic! berlin’s standalone collection of 3D printed eyewear, and the new urban collection features new perspectives and contradiction, explored with new hybrid constructions, 3D printed textures and new colorways. For summer 2017, the plotic collection takes an urban twist with inspiration from utilitarian brutalist architecture that can be seen in both uptown and downtown structures. The collection features new colorways such as brutal blue and powdered beige. Additionally, for the first time, temples can be adjusted up to 10 mm thanks to the new vario temple.

Blackfin Lamina Plus Intros New 2017 Models

Blackfin has added four new models to the Blackfin Lamina Plus collection. In this collection, cellulose acetate combines with beta-titanium in a clever combination that adds new style notes to the brand. Roseway BF810 is a women’s style featuring slightly elongated oval eye-rims and a color range that plays on contrast. Men’s styles include Lockeport BF803 which gives off a slight panto feel embellished with chunky rounded eye-rims. The Rockland BF805 and Jedway BF804 are two square styles that harken back to the original frame designs from Blackfin. However, the Jedway BF804 is equipped with a longer temple of 150-160mm.

Mykita is combining the warmth of acetate with the mechanics of the stainless steel Mykita hinge construction in the addition of new mixed material models with the Mykita Lite collection. New arrivals Alfur and Aluki can be seen in dark amber or tortoise shell colorways while the Samu style is constructed primarily of stainless steel with touches of acetate.
