However, the first Wednesday in November marks a slightly heavier holiday: National Stress Awareness Day. I think most of us can agree that we don’t need a dedicated day to make us “aware” of stress—we’re aware of it all the time. Voting Extended for the 2019 EyeVote Readers’ Choice Awards

NEW YORK—The final voting deadline has been extended to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 11 for the Vision Monday and 20/20 Magazine's 11th annual EyeVote Reader’s Choice Awards. The two Jobson Medical Information publications have teamed up once again to collect readers’ opinions by asking optical retailers’ and ECPs to identify their favorite products in 16 distinct categories. Drawing up Plans—Literally

Even before she ever saw the place that would eventually become Jackson Eye, Danielle Jackson, OD, had already committed some of it to paper. While she was working in a corporate location, she began dreaming and doodling. “If I hadn’t been an eye doctor, I would have been something creative and artsy,” she says. She used a computer-aided design to place equipment and furnishings, without knowing the dimensions of the space she would ultimately find in Fairburn, Georgia. She designed her own logo, incorporating her favorite color, purple.
