Since it’s Expo time, we here at VMail Weekend thought it might be fun to see what kind of good/bad/funny/memorable experiences attendees have had while in Vegas for Vision Expo. For a lot of attendees, having contact with their colleagues made the top of the list—always a real accomplishment considering our digital world. This weekend’s #WeShareIt comes straight from Vision Expo West. Vision Monday’s associate editor, Jamie Wilson and assistant editor, Stephanie Sengwe led a Pop Up Talk discussing the importance of inventory in the Vision Expo Content Studio. VM’s editors were joined by Jenny Ma from Brooklyn Spectacles in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Nada Vuksic from Bruce Eyewear, in Vancouver, B.C.

California Practice With an Eye for Art

COOL, Calif.—This summer, the staff at Cool Optometry have found an unlikely yet creative way to get their patients involved with their practice. Rather than tempting customers into the store with trunk shows or sunglasses sales, they have started hosting paint ‘n sip classes as a fun activity for the community and to provide a way for people to get familiar with the staff.
