AUSTIN, Texas—VisionWeb, a leading provider in optometry software technology, has appointed Nicolas Sinet as the company’s CEO. "Sinet will lead the company as they continue to innovate and grow their technology solutions including the industry-leading ordering platform, revenue cycle management services, and EHR and PM solution, Uprise," the announcement said. Sinet brings over 24 years of experience in the optical industry accumulated across the world where he has handled different executive positions in the fields of supply chain and operations, technology, and digital transformation.

"He brings a drive for continuous improvement and passion for developing empowered teams to spark engagement for positive change leading the charge for business transformation and technology acceleration," VisionWeb noted. Sinet holds a global executive MBA from INSEAD, Masters in quality control and improvement, and Bachelors degrees in quality management and mechanical engineering & automation. In his time at Essilor AMERA (Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Russia, and Africa).
 
Sinet played a decisive role in designing an ambitious technology roadmap aiming at accelerating the B2B and B2C digital transformation, delivering three successful products to more than 10,000 eyecare professionals in 20+ markets.

Robert Carrier has been named CTO of VisionWeb. Carrier has worked in the information technology field for over 20 years, with the last 12 years focusing on the ophthalmic industry. He has worked closely with independent practices and large national groups to develop custom solutions to scale businesses and simplify administration and operation processes, ultimately helping to drive increased traffic and greater revenue generation for practices.
