BROOKLYN, New York—Independent eyewear brand Lowercase has unveiled an extremely limited edition frame custom designed for the Brooklyn Museum in New York, made to accompany the museum’s new shows.

The frame, named the 200, is designed and crafted in New York City, at Lowercase’s Brooklyn Army Terminal workshop and sold at the Brooklyn Museum and in select retailers. It is a bold, playful sun style carved from 8mm cellulose acetate, and features a heavily recessed lens and radiating circles carved out from the frame, showing off transparency within the acetate.

The 200 is available in caramel two-tone, pale blush, and vintage tortoise.
