SALT.

Founded in 2006, SALT. is a coastal California-based brand that draws inspiration from California’s beaches, mountains and deserts. The brand also takes cues from film, architecture, music, art, and the people and places that make California unique.

“We have rotating spots where we keep our frame lines, however, right now our SALT. is front and center as patients enter our optical.”

What are you selling?
One of my favorite brands we carry is SALT. The brand is made up of shapes and colors that are timeless, can be worn for years, are also super comfortable and can handle the wear and tear of daily use. We have rotating spots where we keep our frame lines, however, right now our SALT. is front and center as patients enter our optical. We wear frames that we love to work in and often patients will ask us what we are wearing and it is nice to say, “We actually have them in the optical to try on!” We will also be having a trunk show in Spring of 2020 to give further access to the product. We are the only office in our area with the brand and we are proud of it.

Who’s buying it?
I love the brand because it truly could work for anyone. There are classic styles as well as more fashion-forward options. It is good for consumers and patients who want to wear a frame that is visually appealing, is light on their ears and nose, and compliments their face well.

Why do they like it?
I think SALT. offers people a line that has the most up to date styles (like a pair of gorgeous all-over rose gold metal frames I currently have my eyes on) while also constantly keeping styles that easily could have worked 10 years ago but are still in style today. I can attest to the fact that they last for years. The office I am currently practicing in brought SALT. in a few years ago, while I was still in school. I have frames from when they first came to our office that are still in wonderful shape. I think bold, round frames are doing well right now, as are the semi-transparent frames, especially nude colored.
