Researchers from the Universities of Cardiff and Bristol in the United Kingdom have just brought us one step closer to developing a genetic test that could identify children who are at risk of developing myopia. To create the test, researchers "analysed genetic differences in more than 700,000 individuals, allowing them to come up with a score to predict an individual’s genetic risk of myopia," according to Cardiff University. Head over to Cardiff University News to learn more about this test and what it could mean for the future of myopia management.
