Top Line: GSRx has announced a new initiative called “One Pair is Never Enough,” a program designed to make it easier for ECPs sell the additional pairs patients need for optimum visual performance and visual health.
Close Up: “Everyone in the eyeglass lens business knows that patients need more than one pair, whether for computer work, outdoor time, or a different look,” said David Jochims, founder and CEO of GSRx. “But in independent optometry, the number of patients who purchase an additional pair on the same day as the primary pair is below 10 percent. The One Pair is Never Enough program is designed to make additional pairs more affordable for patients, while increasing per-patient revenue for the practice.”
One Pair is Never Enough multiple pair packages consist two pairs of GSRx’s most premium lenses (either epik Variable progressives or epik FFSV single vision) with GSRx Proper Optics frames for a single price. All lenses include GSRx’s top-of-the-line Infinity Clear AR coating. Optional epik Blue lens treatment and polarization are also included in the package price. ECPs can also use frames from their frame board to increase their profits.
“The pricing puts two pairs of the most advanced customized lenses within reach for patients who would otherwise not opt for them, while adding to the practice’s bottom line,” said Jochims. “Most important, it gives patients the additional pairs they need for health, performance and style. Vital Stats: The program includes staff training, along with marketing materials such as patient brochures, a dispensing mat, a patient lifestyle questionnaire and option selection forms.
