Top Line: The next episode of InsideVision TV will air Wednesday, May 20, at 9:30 a.m. EDT, the sixth show of the New England College of Optometry and Sector Media Group’s InsideVision YouTube Channel. Blumenthal is a recognized entrepreneur and philanthropist. As co-founder of Warby Parker he and his team have reshaped optical retail since their inception 10 years ago. Warby Parker is among the top 10 in retail eyewear sales in the U.S. , according to Vision Monday. Blumenthal was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company, and has received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He was also recognized as part of “The Next Establishment” by Vanity Fair and serves on the board of RxArt and on the United Nations Foundation Global Entrepreneurs Council. Dr. Lal has responsibility for strategy, operations and innovation for all optometry related matters at Warby Parker. Lal joined Warby Parker in November 2018 and has been part of the eyecare industry since 2002.
