Giovanni Zoppas

LONGARONE, Italy—Marcolin Group announced yesterday operational changes within its organization, noting that Giovanni Zoppas, who most recently served as executive chairman of Marcolin would be remaining as a director of the board of the group but is moving to focus on his role at Thelios as CEO and general manager of the joint venture established by Marcolin with the LVMH Group. The move, the announcement said, is part of an agreed-upon plan between the parties, aimed at maximizing the overall value of the Marcolin Group.

Thelios opened its new production site in April 2018, as VMAIL reported.

Massimo Renon, CEO of the Marcolin Group since January 2017, as VMAIL has reported, continues in that role, the company said.

Thelios has been collaborating and producing eyewear for such LVMH brands Celine, Loewe, Fred and Berluti.
