NEW YORK—THE Myopia Meeting, the leading educational program focused on the emerging field of myopia management, has finalized its schedule of meetings for 2020. THE Myopia Meeting will be held at four locations throughout the U.S. during each quarter of 2020. Each event will consist of breakfast, lunch, six hours of COPE-approved CE lectures provided by world-renowned myopia experts and a chance to network with sponsors. Program chair is Dwight Akerman, OD, MBA, FAAO, FBCLA. Dr. Akerman is also chief medical editor of Review of Myopia Management.



THE Myopia Meeting will be held:

March 15 in Bellevue, Wash.
May 3 in Morristown, N.J.
August 30 in Cambridge, Mass.
October 18 in Chicago

An additional workshop on incorporating myopia management in your practice using The Treehouse Eyes method led by Gary Gerber, OD, will also be available.

THE Myopia Meeting is affiliated with Review of Myopia Management, which was introduced April, 2019, as a digital-only source of clinical, practice management, market and research information on myopia for eyecare professionals. The 2020 schedule for THE Myopia Meeting follows a successful run during its launch year in 2019, when events were held in Washington, D.C., and Southern and Northern California.
