MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich.—SVS Vision has announced that Lisa Garity has joined the organization as vice president of marketing. In this role, Garity will lead the company’s marketing function including strategic brand management, advertising and media, digital marketing, creative and sales promotion, according to the announcement this week from the company. Garity brings 30 years of advertising and marketing experience to the position. Most recently she was a senior vice president at Daniel Brian Advertising (DBA) in Michigan.

“The entire management team was elated when Lisa joined us from DBA, our ad agency,” SVS president and chief financial officer said. “Lisa has been a member of our team for years—the only difference is that now we get her expertise full-time. We are a stronger entity for having her on board.”

“I’m humbled and honored to have the opportunity to join this stellar team,” Garity said in the announcement. “Having the pleasure of working with Ken and the SVS marketing team in my previous role at the agency has placed me in a unique position to help continue the amazing growth experienced so far,” she said.

Garity noted that her goals will be focused on continuing to expand the retailer’s brand footprint and digital presence while enhancing the customer experience with the conveniences people expect in today’s rapidly adapting environment.

She added, “The constant drive to provide the best quality product and outstanding eyecare as a personable and trusted partner to our patients are just a few of the things that make me so passionate about this company and our future.”

SVS Vision, a Michigan-based optical retailer, has been providing eyecare and optical services for more than 40 years and currently operates more than 80 optical retail locations, according to a spokeswoman.
