SAN DIEGO—Eyes On Eyecare has announced that registration is officially open for Eyes On Dry Eye 2022. The three-day virtual educational summit is scheduled for March 4-6, 2022. Eyes On Dry Eye 2022 will provide eyecare professionals with the latest research and education, live sessions and interactive Q&As with renowned specialists, leading innovations in a virtual exhibit hall, industry-wide networking and an opportunity to earn up to 9 hours of free CE on topics directly related to patient care.

Attendees can also enter to win up to $4,000 in prizes, according to the organizer. "Our 2021 Optometrist Survey showed us that dry eye ranked number one when respondents were asked the question: What clinical specialty do you feel presents the largest opportunity for eyecare in the future?” said Matt Geller, OD, co-founder and CEO of CovalentCreative, the parent company of Eyes On Eyecare. “Today’s eyecare professionals are absolutely committed to delivering the best care possible to their patients, which is why we are thrilled to offer three days of premier education and innovation dedicated to everything dry eye from today’s leading specialists.”

According to the National Eye Institute (NEI), dry eye affects nearly 16 million Americans, but numbers are likely to be much higher. Today’s eyecare professionals are seeking new and innovative treatments for the disease as evidenced by last year’s inaugural Eyes On Dry Eye event, which drew 3,811 attendees who viewed more than 15,000 hours of education.

Eyes On Dry Eye will be co-chaired by dry eye experts, Damon Dierker, OD, FAAO, and Ahmad Fahmy, OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO.
