LONGARONE, Italy—The Philipp Plein Group and the De Rigo Group have announced a license agreement for the creation, production and distribution, globally, of both sunglasses and optical frames. The companies said the license takes effect immediately and the launch of the first collection is expected for the second half of 2021. The Philipp Plein eyewear collections will be distributed worldwide through the De Rigo sales network and in the brand’s boutique stores. The announcement also noted, "The coming together of these two leading international fashion powerhouses has led to a partnership that will soon see the launch of eyewear collections combining the extraordinary technical savoir-faire and no-compromise quality of the De Rigo Group with the unmistakable aesthetics and strong and innovative style codes of the Philipp Plein brand."
