PALM SPRINGS, Fla.—Now Optics, a leading eye health provider offering eyecare under the retail brands Stanton Optical and My Eyelab, has named two women to its leadership team. They are: former CVS Health executive Morgan Diaz and Lukana Justin, formerly of Office Depot Inc. Diaz joined Now Optics as senior vice president of operations and business development, and Justin is the new senior vice president of marketing. Both roles are newly created positions, and both executives report directly to Daniel Stanton, chief executive officer of Now Optics. On the leadership team, they join general counsel Tara Pellegrino, who joined the company in early 2018.

“Morgan and Lukana bring a wealth of experience from their prior corporate roles to Now Optics,” Stanton said in the announcement, noting that the company is a “rapidly growing organization. “Both positions are integral to our strategic expansion plans; and I’m pleased to have them join our team,” he added.

In her role, Diaz is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s retail, clinical and franchise operations, including its more than 165 stores across 25 states. Additionally, she collaborates with the leadership team on the company’s new business growth strategies. Diaz most recently was a senior director at CVS Health, where she led strategy, operations and transformative growth initiatives for the pharmacy and health services divisions. During her nine-year career at CVS Health, she spearheaded many enterprise initiatives.

“As the new leader of Now Optics’ operations and business development teams, it’s a terrific opportunity and pivotal time in the company’s growth,” Diaz said. “Through the team’s sustained efforts of focusing first on customers while we collaborate and innovate allows us to better position our business for the future.”

Justin joins the leadership team as Now Optics’ senior vice president of marketing with oversight of marketing strategy, communications, e-commerce and customer analytics. She is responsible for developing strategies to drive customer growth, revenue and in-store traffic and for establishing the company’s brand positioning, including its rebranding.

“The opportunity to build a brand portfolio that delivers on customer needs in such a dynamic industry is exhilarating, and a critical foundation for continued growth,” Justin said in the announcement. “Our customers guide us in every decision, and I am proud to represent their voice.”

As a former vice president of marketing, brand and customer strategy, for Office Depot, Justin spearheaded several omnichannel growth initiatives over a span of nearly 10 years, including revamping the consumer loyalty program. Most recently, she led the development and execution of the company’s new business services brand, Workonomy.

Now Optics, formerly known as Vision Precision Holdings, is among the fastest-growing retail optical centers in the U.S., overseeing 165 corporate and franchise locations across 25 states.
