DENVER, Colo.—Nikon Optical USA has appointed Everest Pandya as director of business development. Based here, he reports to Matthieu Geoffray, president of Nikon Optical North America, and works alongside Rick Davis, chief operating officer. Pandya began his optical industry career seven years ago as Nikon Optical Canada’s territory manager in Eastern Ontario. "Within only two years, Everest was able to bring a negative sales territory to positive growth,” said Geoffray. “His passion for the Nikon brand, result-driven attitude, and dedication to a customer-centric and value-based approach are all contributors to his success.”

Geoffray added that later, in the role of business architect, Pandya worked with senior executives across the organization, providing “insightful analysis to improve business performance by supporting decision making, leading pricing and promoting commercial strategies."

Pandya graduated with honors from Ryerson University in Toronto in 2014. He majored in biomedical engineering, with a specialization in bioelectronics. He continues to be active within the University’s Biomedical Engineering Society and offers coaching to new undergraduates interested in pursuing a career path in engineering and business.
