NEW YORK—The organizers of the LOFT Eyewear show have announced that LOFT SF will be held in San Francisco, Sept. 18-19, at Fort Mason in Gallery 308. "This will be our second LOFT SF, taking place at Gallery 308, right on the water, located on a pier with magnificent views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge," said LOFT's Richard Mehwa. He added, "Carefully curated brands such as Lindberg, Bevel, Blake Kuwahara, Mykita, and Salt anchor the event. Two small local vineyards will offer some amazing wine tastings."

He said, "We are very excited to announce the new dates for LOFT SF from September 18-19. At that time, many of us will already have received the vaccine, and will be ready to launch new collections. At the same time, we expect a great deal of pent up demand for an event of this kind, with the timing being just before Silmo."

In addition, LOFT organizers have officially suspended plans for LOFT in New York in the spring. Said Mehwa, "As a smaller event, we had hoped that we could stage the LOFT in New York, however, we feel the timing is still too soon. With the event only four months out, international travel restrictions are still in place, and a show at the end of May makes little commercial sense given that most of us are launching semi-annual releases in the next weeks."

For the September San Francisco event, a portal will be set up to manage appointments, and preferential hotel deals offered to attendees via the website at www.lofteyewearshow.com.
