BATH, England—Inspecs Group PLC (LSE: SPEC), a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of eyewear frames, announced that it has appointed Steve Tulba to managing director of its Inspecs division. "In his 11 years of working with the company, Steve brings a deep understanding of the business and experience within the sector." As VMAIL reported on Nov. 19, Inspecs is in the process of acquiring Eschenbach Holding, GmbH, a global eyewear supplier headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany.

It has two divisions, one focused on designing and distributing eyeglass frames and sunglasses (which consists of Tura in the U.S.) and one on designing, manufacturing and distributing specialty optics products and low vision technologies, which is the Optics Division (Eschenbach Optik of America).

In announcing Tulba's new role, Inspecs told VMAIL, "Steve is managing director of Inspecs globally, with oversight of Inspecs USA. It is important to note, however, that Vance Wright remains president of Inspecs USA. Scott Sennett will be running Tura as a separate division of the group."

Tulba initially joined Bath-based Inspecs in 2003 as international business development manager. After spending a period as president of Inspecs USA managing key customer accounts and business strategy in the U.S., he spent four years as managing director of Mondottica. In March 2020, Tulba returned to the Inspecs Group as chief commercial officer, helping to oversee the licencing business as well as sales, nationally and internationally.

Tulba has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Bath.
