TROY, Mich.—I-deal Optics Holdings, Inc. has announced that Sherrie Rogerson has been named director of key account sales for I-deal Optics. In this role, she is responsible for nurturing the relationships with the key account base while profitably extending the reach of I-deal into a greater national presence, the company said. Rogerson is a seasoned optical industry veteran with deep experience in optometric retail, key account leadership and practice consulting. Before joining I-deal Optics she held senior roles at Doctor’s Vision Center, Rem Eyewear and Eyewear Designs LTD. Most recently through her own firm, Optical Excellence Consulting, she worked with VSP Global assisting in the design and launch of two OD/Staff facing programs. Rogerson was named one of the Vision Monday's Most Influential Women in Optical, is a past president of the Optical Women’s Association (OWA), and the 2014 recipient of the OWA Pleiades Award which honors an individual who has shown exceptional support in advancing the leadership role of women in the optical industry.
