DALLAS—Eyemart Express, a leading national value optical retailer, has named Bill Butler as senior vice president of store operations, according to an announcement on Tuesday. Butler will focus on executing the optical retailer’s new-store growth goals, driving customer service and ensuring associate development. He formerly served as vice president, operations at CVS Health, where he oversaw operations in both the West and Midwest regions. Prior to that, he held a variety of roles at Omnicare, Ardent Health Services and Deloitte, according to the announcement.

At Eyemart Express, Butler will work closely with executive and store leadership teams to refine the retailer’s store operations procedures—ensuring the optical retailer’s 203 stores nationwide optimize retail and lab productivity and deliver a world-class customer experience, the announcement noted.

Eyemart Express, a portfolio company of investment firm FFL Partners, has been serving consumers for more than 29 years and now operates 203 stores in 38 states. It ranked as the No. 11 optical retailer in Vision Monday’s Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailers report, with estimated annual sales of $260 million.
