GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Blue Sky Vision, a large and fast-growing eyecare group in Michigan, has appointed Shane Rodgers as vice president of finance and accounting. Rodgers brings more than 15 years of accounting and financial management leadership experience to his new role, according to a Blue Sky Vision announcement this week. Most recently, Rodgers served as senior group controller at Patrick Industries Inc., where he was actively involved in acquisitions and had financial responsibility for a significant number of Patrick’s brands.

“Shane’s proven track record of leading teams, driving growth, streamlining business operations and increasing profit makes him a valuable addition to our team,” Blue Sky Vision president Dan Shoemaker said in the announcement. “The knowledge and experience he brings will help our organization continue to grow while, at the same time, increase efficiencies.”

Rodgers also previously served as chief financial officer for Poly-Wood LLC, and held positions with Zimmer Biomet.
