Nike chief executive officer John Donahoe, in a letter to employees this week in which Nike declared Juneteenth an annual paid holiday for employees, as reported by CNN Business. Donahoe noted that observing Juneteenth is an opportunity "to better commemorate and celebrate Black history and culture," according to the CNN Business report.
