NEW YORK—Due to ongoing concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with health guidance from the CDC, WHO, and other health authorities, Vision Monday has decided to postpone the 14th Annual Vision Monday Global Leadership Summit, which was scheduled to take place March 25 at The Times Center in New York City. The decision was communicated to registered attendees, speakers and sponsors last Friday. Earlier that afternoon, The Vision Council and Reed Exhibitions, organizers of Vision Expo, announced their plans to consolidate Vision Expo East, due to be held March 26-29 in New York City, with Vision Expo West, in Las Vegas, Sept. 23-26.

Marc Ferrara, CEO, Information Services Group, Jobson, said, “In the coming weeks, we will be working diligently to explore all options to deliver our valuable program at another date this year.”

“As always, our goal is to create an exciting, relevant and informative event for the leaders of our industry and vision care community, in a way that will work for our loyal attendees, sponsors and speakers," added Marge Axelrad, SVP, editorial director, Vision Monday/VMAIL. “We will share more details as our plans develop for the program, The Future of Healthcare: Beyond 2020,” she said.
