HEBRON, Ky.—The opening last month of the Zeiss Customer Experience Center here provided company executives with a unique showcase to display the full range of Zeiss’s proprietary technology and design expertise. The company’s $20 million investment in the facility, which houses a model eyecare practice and a state-of-the-art Rx lens lab, underscores its commitment to providing eyecare professionals with the products and programs they need to compete effectively. Jens Boy, president of Zeiss Vision Care U.S., was on hand with other members of the Zeiss management team, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and to welcome visitors. He took time to speak with VM’s Andrew Karp about how Zeiss’s “eyecare practice of the future” can help its ECP customers grow their practice today by offering a more patient-centric experience based on Zeiss design concepts and the company’s advanced optics and diagnostic technologies.
