NEW YORK—Each year, Europa Eyewear hosts a special DB4K Design Duel where they give young patients a chance to design their very own DB4K frame. The team chooses a winning design which will then be produced in real life and added to the DB4K collection, carrying the designer’s name. The fun contest is a great way for kids—and parents—to get involved in their eyecare and show off their artistic chops. Plus, it gives some fantastic insight into what kinds of designs and colors kids are gravitating toward. This year’s entries include bold colors, intricate patterns and some serious design skills.

The contest is open through Sept. 30, 2022. Full terms and conditions are available on the Europa website,
alongside the official coloring sheets that ECPs can download and provide to children in their practices.

In addition to adding the winner’s design to the DB4K collection, the winning designer will receive a free pair of their winning frame, a canvas print of their frame design and a DB4K prize package. The office that submits the winning design will also receive the winning frame for free, and custom POP highlighting the winning style and designer.

The coloring page for the Design Duel is available on the Europa website.
