HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.—ClearVision Optical has formed a new core leadership team comprised of six long-term executives. "ClearVision is committed to providing one of the best experiences in the eyecare industry, and our reimagined leadership structure has already proven transformative," said David Friedfeld, ClearVision president. "We have set ambitious goals to maintain excellence and value in service for our customers. This talented executive team will keep us dedicated to achieving our goals while upholding our values. We are excited about this team leading the charge as we look ahead to our 75th year and beyond."

The six leaders, along with Friedfeld, co-owner of ClearVision with his brother, Peter Friedfeld, executive vice president, guided the company as it emerged stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said. They also played central roles as ClearVision launched new brands and established themselves as leaders in innovation with investments such as Tech Print Industries (TPI), a 3D-printed eyewear company co-founded by David and Peter Friedfeld in 2019.

The ClearVision story began 74 years ago. Among its more recent achievements have been an expanded global presence of Dilli Dalli, the launch of the Italian-artisan fashion eyewear brand ILLA, and the establishment a successful PPE business, all while serving ClearVision's customers and exploring new opportunities. David and Peter Friedfeld will continue their leadership roles by nurturing industry relationships, launching new brands, fostering company culture, developing key and corporate accounts, and co-founding new business ventures like TPI.

ClearVision's new executive leadership team will come together as an empowered group to make informed decisions, steer the company, identify priorities, and maximize existing opportunities while creating new ones. As a cohesive unit, these leaders are embracing their enhanced responsibilities to ensure ClearVision embodies its mission to make each day better for someone else. The executive team and their ongoing or new responsibilities are as follows:

Barbara Lax and Jennifer Trakhtenberg are assuming expanded leadership roles as co-chief operating officers, maintaining many of the responsibilities they've taken on in recent years. Additionally, Lax will still oversee accounting and analysis, and manage the supply chain, while  Trakhtenberg will stay committed to building the ClearVision team through talent scouting, coaching and investment in training. Customer Care, Key Accounts and the Distribution Center will report to both.

Jennifer Kearney and Theresa Sciarrone are being promoted to co-directors of sales operations and will continue overseeing sales communication, training and support. ClearVision's regional sales director team, which includes Pam Benson, Charlie Fegreus, Steve Epstein, Jill Eldridge and Lesley Claveria (who is also leading ClearVision's export and international business expansion), will report to them.

Seth Levenberg, head of digital solutions and information technology, will push forward the development of leading-edge tools and reporting that helps ClearVision grow through automation, artificial intelligence and app development.

Steve Tripi will continue leading ClearVision's marketing efforts as head of marketing and creative services. He directs storytelling, product stories, and brand development by creating and leveraging digital communications and tools, events, and content designed to further customer relationships.

"ClearVision's all-star leaders keep inspiring us with remarkable camaraderie and ownership, which they demonstrate by dedicating time to mentorship, future-oriented projects, and building relationships to ensure our team is equipped and engaged," said Trakhtenberg.
