NEW YORK— Is your business a candidate to be among Vision Monday’s Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailers? VM is issuing one last deadline extension for submissions to its annual survey of optical retailers across the U.S. for inclusion in the 2018 Top U.S. Optical Retailers report. Results from the survey will be published in the May 2018 digital and print issue of Vision Monday. This survey is being sent to chief executives of retail operations, both chain and independent. The survey, and the 2018 Top U.S. Optical Retailers report, will be based upon revenues for the calendar year that ended Dec. 31, 2017.

This year’s special report, as in year’s past, asks for total company revenues, including sales from both company-owned and franchised stores (if applicable), managed vision care revenues, online sales, and any share of affiliated doctors’ fees or laser-surgery fees your company receives—or a total that would represent all revenue derived from optical products and services through locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The report will look at national and regional groups as well as breakouts of mass merchandisers and wholesale clubs with optical departments.

The deadline to provide the information to Vision Monday is now midnight, Tuesday, April 17.
