PADUA and MILAN—Safilo and Chiara Ferragni, entrepreneur and global fashion icon, have announced their new multi-year licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing and distribution of the first Chiara Ferragni branded eyewear collection. The first collection will include both optical and sun and will be unveiled for Spring/Summer 2022, hitting the market in January 2022. The new agreement with Chiara Ferragni, marking her namesake brand’s entry into eyewear licensing, follows Safilo’s direction of digital transformation and active engagement strategy, addressing new generations through new languages and channels to reflect the marketplace.
