NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.—Prism Vision Group (PVG) announced the addition of the Mitchell & Morin Eye Institute (MMEI) to its platform. Terms of the agreement were not announced. MMEI provides high quality eyecare to the population of Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland serviced by their locations in Vienna, Va. and Bethesda, Md. In addition to general ophthalmology services, it also provides LASIK and refractive procedures, cataract surgery (routine and complex) glaucoma treatment, corneal transplantation and multiple aesthetic treatments.

It is also dedicated to giving back to the community and society. MMEI is actively involved in multiple charitable events, both locally and internationally. Drs. John Mitchell, Emily Ash Morin, Jaqueline Weber and Stacy Bang are actively involved in educating the next generation of eyecare providers by training and teaching the ophthalmology residents of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center. All have served as board members of the Washington National Eye Center.
