JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—Johnson & Johnson Vision, a global leader in eye health and part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, announced that it has named Lori Tierney, president, Americas, Jacqueline Henderson president, EMEA and Christoph Vonwiller, president Asia Pacific. In these new positions, Tierney, Henderson and Vonwiller now lead the end-to-end Vision business in their respective regions, driving strategy, commercial excellence, and organizational alignment across both of J&J Vision’s Vision Care and Surgical Vision businesses. Tierney previously served as the president of Americas for the Vision Care business, Henderson was the area vice president, EMEA for Vision Care and Vonwiller was regional vice president, APAC for Surgical Vision.

The company also announced that Carla Calizaire has been appointed vice president, North America Sales, Vision Care, effective immediately. Calizaire will lead the development and execution of the company’s optometry portfolio business plan while Sandor Palfi, vice president, Americas, Surgical Vision will continue to lead the commercial organization across the Americas supporting the ophthalmology portfolio.
 
Calizaire begins her new role after serving as vice president and global leader of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Johnson & Johnson MedTech and vice president of Sales and Marketing for DePuy Synthes in Canada. She has also held sales leadership roles across J&J and Novo Nordisk.

It was also announced that Jun Morimura will remain president for Vision Care, Japan, building strategy and driving execution for the Vision Care business in the Japanese market.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson Vision, Tierney was the worldwide president for Mentor, leading end-to-end business for the world’s No. 1 breast aesthetic brand. She also served as vice president, Commercial Operations for J&J Medical Devices North America and prior to joining the company, held leadership positions at AstraZeneca, Endo International and Centocor.

Henderson joined Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products division in 1996, where she held positions in sales and marketing leadership in global and local operating company roles. She then moved to the Medical Device sector of Johnson & Johnson as general manager of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Canada before becoming vice president of Marketing North America.

Vonwiller joined Johnson & Johnson in 2005 and soon after became general manager for Cordis & Lifescan for Johnson & Johnson Medical Australia & New Zealand. He then became General Medicine business unit director for Janssen Australia and then served as vice president, Metabolism Commercial Leader.
